AJUG's purpose is to promote the exchange of information about the Java programming language and related technologies.
AJUG is an umbrella organisation that seeks to improve the adoption of JavaTechnology by fostering the development of local JavaUserGroups. For more information, see the AjugVisionStatement.
This site can only grow with your input! It is envisaged that this site will be the first point of call for not only local Java news but also a center for developers and interested parties alike. Java has grown so rapidly primarily from the "community" spirit and sharing of information...let's continue to do so!
To "join" the Australian Java Users Group:
- Find a JUG nearby and join their mailing list
; or if there isn't one, create one - You can also participate by joining the national AJUG mailing list
by emailing ajug-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
To find and join and local Java User Group:
- Checkout the JUGs Downunder site
with map, there are contact details for jugs on the map.
